As the first "future factory" cultivation enterprise in Lishui,
Yuheng Battery Co., Ltd.
has completed the first phase of intelligent transformation.

The manufacturing of batteries requires going through complex processes,

which cannot be accomplished by a single assembly line.
This also poses higher demands on Yuheng Battery's path toward intelligent manufacturing.

It's hard to imagine that this nationally supported "specialized, refined, distinctive, and innovative" Little Giant enterprise – a "Little Giant" being China's term for outstanding SMEs with specialized technology and innovative capabilities – was once a nickel-metal hydride battery manufacturer plagued by financial constraints, scarce orders, and severe inventory backlogs.

   To survive, one must change.

In 2017, Yuheng Battery made up its mind to "replace workers with machines".

Fully automatic winding machines, assembly lines and liquid injection lines gradually replaced the traditional manual operations.

The efficiency of 7 winding machines is equivalent to that of more than 100 winding workers.

This not only improves the production efficiency, but also enhances the quality of products.

In May this year, Yuheng Battery completed the construction of the first-phase digital workshop – the MES (Manufacturing Execution System). The MES cockpit, integrating equipment management, personnel supervision, production monitoring, and quality control modules, serves as the company's "smart core." This system enables automated data collection and full-process quality traceability, while conducting real-time analysis and dynamic management of product quality.

Of course, production tasks and personnel management are just a piece of cake for this "central system." What truly matters for enterprises is real-time monitoring of the production workshop. In the past, product quality relied on manual inspections by quality controllers, but now intelligent monitoring and visualization are achieved throughout the entire process – data is fully under control!

After the intelligent transformation, Youheng Battery has achieved a 20% increase in production efficiency and a 30% increase in production capacity respectively, while reducing labor costs by 10%, improving energy utilization by 10%-15%, and shortening product delivery cycles by 20%.
